    Scaramuccio – you can hear Theorin as the Siegfried Brünnhilde in Washington DC in May ’09, and then in November ’09 in Washington’s complete Ring cycle.

    theorin is also the star of the copenhagen ring, now on dvd. she’s one of the most enjoyable brunnhildes on video: big voice, secure high notes, a committed actress (and very well directed). she’s no wraith, but she keeps you watching. stephen milling as hunding/fasolt is also a treat.
