Sanford, my angel, no offence meant, it’s just that when I was a girl a lot of the audience were young gay guys, and I mean young, 15+ and upwards. When I go these days it’s a more of a youngish married middle class couples type of audience. Is it because do you think, that 30 years or so ago, young gay guys looked to older gay guys for guidance in their artistic education in a way they don’t seem to these days?

    Pavel:

What “station” are you listening on.?..for some reason I’m having a very hard time keeping the stream from breaking up on the German radio staions, and am finding the only one that remains consistant is BartokRadio, from Hungary…which doesn’t have the greatest sound quality..

    Thanks!

If any of you want to see more of Bekim Fehmiu, check out Tinto Brass’ “Salon Kitty.” It’s filled with full frontal male nudity, including Bekim, and is such a bizarre, artsy 1970s Nazisploitation flick.

I went to Netflix to search for this film and this is the description I got: “In this cult favorite from John Boorman (Beyond Rangoon), 23rd century society is split into two castes — the overly civilized Eternals and the barely civilized Brutals — one of which is constantly controlling the other. The Brutals worship a huge stone figure known as Zardoz. When Zed (Sean Connery) begins to question the authenticity of this god, the film is able to offer some pointed commentary on class structure and religion.” It took me a moment to realize I didn’t have the right one:)
