defying gravidity indeed. I’m laughing so hard—but honestly—what the hell was that? I hesitate to admit my ignorance, but it sure was fun…

Wonderful singing—actually, some of the best I’ve heard from her. Solid!! There are many sopranos who thought they’ve done their best singing while pregnant—others who lose the top of their voices. I think Netrebko is doing better than ever since she was already in great shape. Next thing you know, the posters at Opera-L will be saying she never should have “lost the weight”.

It looked like Bertrand de Billy was the conductor. The piece was a Czardas of some sort. Open air concerts can be difficult to amplify and the blend here was certainly heavy on the orchestra–but what an energized and great sound.

what do they call the style of her neckline on that dress?

Why cant men show off ‘cleavage’?

I thought her spins were a little over the top, but id be spinning too if i was carring Erwin’s baby.

  • whirling dervishes batman, she’s ready for salome!

  • Carlos says:

She is the greatest living soprano!

She looks great and sounds better here than she has in years! Brava, AN, and keep on spinning!

From ‘Trebs.com “On Friday, June 27, two days before the Euro 2008 Final in Vienna, Anna Netrebko teams up with tenors Plácido Domingo and Rolando Villazón to give what will surely be a historic concert at Vienna’s majestic Schönbrunn Palace.”

Maybe that’s where it was -
