Gemini is a gem. And I don’t say that just because I am one (a gemini and a big ‘mo). Y’all know the old saw: dying’s easy; comedy is hard. It’s true. And that’s what makes the play such a towering achievement: it is really, REALLY funny. I regret having seen it but once, long ago. Were it produced locally, I’d make a beeline for it and tell all my friends — you have GOT to see this play.

A general Thank you! to all who take the time to post their opinions here. Put me in the camp with those who admire Mrs. JC, in particular. And to those who do not, you should beg, desire, no, demand a full refund to staunch your disappointment. It will make you feel better.

  • Did you know – do you care? – that David Hyde-Pierce along with Katherine Hepburn and Antony Perkins are all descendants of the Pilgrim fathers from Bassetlaw (in Nottinghamshire, England) … or at least so says our researcher for our Gay Nottinghamshire History project,

  • Could I ask – or am I being a little naive – where Katherine Hepburn fits into the Gay Nottinghamshire History Project. I mean, OK, she’s descended from the Pilgrim Fathers, but then…

One thing about all these people mentioned is that they are probably on the Spencer family tree. For the Chuckie and Di Wedding a guy in England looked at who was connected way back when to the Spencers–just about everybody, including George Washington, John Adams, and Humphrey Bogart.
