    I’m actually thinking Norma now.

First: Adalgisa waiting for Pollione (or vamping in the run up to Casta Diva)

    Second: Clotilde and Norma.

Third: Mira O’Norma … perchè me ne rimuneri così?

  • kashania says:

Is this the Suor Angelica that I’ve been waiting for??

    It could be Salome.
    1. Salome’s dance.
    2. Salome offers Herodias a light
    3. Herodias kisses Salome (for asking for Jokanaan’s head?).

  • Eugene says:

It might be whatever you like, but let it be Elektra.

  • trappole says:

Is that third picture Susan Graham making out with a soprano?

    I’d say this is Elektra.

  • Eugene says:

    1. Elektra’s fatal dance
    2. Confrontation scene
    3. Elektra and Chrysothemis scene

    Arabella?

  • miltonpunter says:

Probably way off base but how about Don Carlos?

  • Sam says:

Ariadne I think…it’s probably Pearl Fishers knowing my luck…

I can’t be the Zeffirelli staging of La Voix Humaine because there aren’t enough supers blocking our view. So it has to be Porgy and Bess.

Setting aside the name of the opera briefly, I have to admit that I’m intrigued by the turntable and reel-to-reel in picture 2. Any thoughts as to the models? Also the amp and tuner, but I don’t see any lavish 4LP boxed sets on those shelves…
