You'll remember that in an Opera News interview Mauriusz said he likes to smoke, drink, and make love. But that's as far as he went with it.)

Given that in the wrong hands, this information has the potential to end a happy relationship, this information frightens me a little.
Yikes. I hope it doesn't. That would indeed be sad. Maybe we should all stop talking about it, right now. And maybe pigs will suddenly fly past my window, and Iraq will freeze over.
Let's remember this SUPPOSEDLY happened in 1999 when, for all we know, neither Daniels or Kwiecsen were with their current partners....and Kwiecsen is definitely gay and very nicely coupled...

Yes I heard rumors about Nathan Gunn backstage at the Met too. I heard he wanted to get a pepsi at the cafeteria and he was short by a dime. So in desperation he sold his jock strap to a chorister named Rudy (short for Rudyard)for four quarters. He was therefore able to purchase the pepsi AND a bag of chips.
and as for the partnered Mr. D, let's just say that when the cat's away on tour, the cat gets what he wants...

what i heard about nathan gunn backstage was much more salacious than what you say, but since it's all hearsay, i'll leave it at that...
Sorry to disappoint the bloggeratti here but Mr. Gunn is and has always been completely faithful to his lovely wife Julie. Any comments indicating otherwise are completely fabricated rumors. I have been friends with her since high school and known Nathan since they got engaged. If you knew Nathan personally you would understand how such rumors are totally off base. He is utterly in love with his wife and devoted to his family. There's not even a touch of curiosity about doing anything outside his marriage with another man or woman.
Oh that is so sweeeeet....next time I run into Nathan Gunn I will tell him how affectingly his friend, little stevie, spoke of his conjugal bliss.
Some of us are still wondering which three American singers, including a tenor, a supposedly straight baritone, and a mezzo reportedly participated in a wild, post-prandial menage a trois in Paris a few years ago whilst appearing in a production of a Gluck opera.
BTW, I am not intimating that any of the male singers are among those named in this thread because I really don't know who the guys were. Re: the mezzo, those of you who read Parterre Box a couple of years back may recall who I am referring to.

Okay, so the pants and the eyebrows in the Seattle pic do speak volumes, BUT, Erwin Schrott is way hotter than MK.
I always assumed, but never inquired, that Daniels and his partner had an open relationship.
I haven't seen Daniels in ages, but in 1999, his partner was an incredibly talented musician (pianist/organist) and very sweet guy, who, I always thought was the better catch.
