UPDATE: A source at Opera Colorado informs La Cieca that there is in fact no exodus currently in progress from the company's costume shop. La Cieca apologizes for the confusion.Earlier, La Cieca reported that her "mile-high informant" whispered that "Colorado Opera's entire costume department just quit in a huff. Or was fired in a huff." Apparently La Cieca was either misinformed or else misunderstood the tip she was given.
In any case, we continue with the latest installment of News of the Hard to Believe. America's Singing Slab Nathan Gunn is quoted in the Chicago Tribune as saying, apparently with a straight face, "To be honest, I don't think that much about how I look."
No, John von Rhein wasn't buying it either.

Hey everyone, Nathan Gunn will be teaching at the University of Illinois this fall. What do you say we prank phone call him? One of us will call and pretends to be the Kennedy Center offering him a lifetime achievement award and when he gets all excited we will yell: "gotcha!!!"
Nathan Gunn happens to be a very devout chritian, if you know what I mean by that....so he would kindly appreciate if people did not lust after him....his taking off his clothes onstage is simply an "artistic choice" and it is in no way intended to titilate sexually confused boys.
I'm fairly sure that none of these boys are sexually confused, friend.

oh my god...i can't believe my sarcasm went over your heads...or maybe your sarcasm went over my head....all the same....whether you are sexually confused or not...let's call up Nathan Gunn for that much needed prank phone call....actually I find his wife to be a real inspiration...she is proof that no matter what you look like you can always marry someone who looks like Nathan Gunn...so, don't give up hope girls...or sexually confused boys...

no you are not the only one who is getting tired....but it is easier to sign on as anonymous...less time consuming
