Opera Chic recoils in Scala shocker!
Our devoted and prolific little sister Opera Chic reports that, threatened with legal action from La Scala's cadre of highly-paid lawyers, she has removed "offending" content from her site, including photographs taken inside the celebrated opera house and even her own logo. But, as with so many things Milanese, OC tells the story best.

Bummer.
Don't these places realize that the "unofficial" photos and clips and sound bites just make us all more interested.
Dummies.
Added to say - they should be glad there are still some people around who want to gossip about the opera!
I agree totally dollylama2007.
This and the whole Oneguin scandale is NOT the same thing as downloading an entire album off of a file sharing network without paying for it, or one friend of 10 buying a cd, and then everyone else downloading to their computer. This isn't ripping anyone off, and only generates interest in the art and the goings on of opera houses. Why are they so stupid that they can't see this???
And we all wonder all the time why they seem to have such a lack of imagination in casting!!! Well, HERE YOU GO!!!!!! It's a systemic problem, clearly. I nominate Opera Chic and La Cieca as GM and AD of Big-Important-Opera-House Opera.
