Troyanos did have extreme stage fright and early on she was reported to live an “extremly disorganized life” (whatever the hell that meant–read it in some “opera rag”) however, she could sing the hell out of the roles that she tackled. As I have said on this blog before, I saw and heard her in “Norma” with Sills. When she first came on stage no one clapped; however, by the end of her 1st aria, the audiance was screaming brava!!

Okay, Okay! I was wrong to say insane! Thought I already apologized for that…the last thing I want is a catfight! ;-)
Let me say again, I love to hear Troyanos any chance I; I find it sad that she suffered from such horrible stage-fright.
    Truce!

reedroom, you can say whatever you like about any Diva or Divo on this blog. I will still love you!

I had forgotten how absolutely marvelous she was.

Many, many thanks to you, La Cieca, for reminding me.

    Brava.
